RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
"…The Glory That Should Follow" · Thursday, April 4th ·

Pastor Chris

... Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow (1 Peter 1:11).

The prophets of old, looking into the realm of the spirit, searched intently, to know the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them signified, when He testified of the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow. Meaning, that right after the sufferings of Christ, a life of glory ensued. Jesus already suffered on our behalf, and His vicarious suffering has ushered us into the glory-life. He didn’t suffer for nothing.

Isaiah 53:5 says He was wounded for your transgressions, He was bruised for your iniquities, the chastisement of your peace was upon Him and with His stripes, you were healed. He suffered, so you don’t have to suffer. Anyone who’s suffering today, in spite of what Jesus has accomplished for us, is paying the price for ignorance. God said in Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…." To the one who’s suffering from cancer, for example, he only needs to know that Jesus already suffered that debilitating ailment on his behalf and act accordingly. To believe is to act.

It reminds of what happened with the Apostle Paul at Lystra in Acts 14:7-11. As Paul preached, there was a crippled man who sat listening to the Gospel. Paul, fixing his gaze at him, perceived that the man had faith to be healed and said to him with a loud voice, "... Stand upright on thy feet. And he (the crippled man) leaped and walked" (Acts 14:10). Paul didn’t pray; he understood that the life of glory should follow the sufferings of Christ, and as a result, he ministered the Gospel to the crippled man, who accepting the truth, was healed instantly.

What does this mean to us today? It means anyone who hitherto couldn’t walk, can now walk. Anyone that was blind can now see. Life and light have been manifested in Christ, through the Gospel; therefore, no more death, no more darkness, no more defeat, and no more fear. Our Saviour Jesus Christ has abolished death, disease and failure, and brought us into a life of glory, honour, dignity, and excellence. Glory to His Name forever!

Prayer

Dear heavenly Father, you’ve called me to a life of glory, virtue, honour, dignity and excellence, and have made me the expression of your glory. As I continue to behold your glory in the Word, I’m metamorphosed and positioned for an extraordinary life of dominion, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Saved To Save Others · Friday, April 5th ·

Pastor Chris

... Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:19-20).

When God saves you, He makes you His partner in saving others; you become His co-worker in reaching others with His message of salvation. You’re not on earth to merely balance the ecosystem; God has a purpose for your life. He saved you, and left you in the earth to be His witness. Isaiah 43:10 says, "Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen…."

You’re chosen and ordained of God as His able minister of the Gospel: "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit…" (2 Corinthians 3:6). As a minister of reconciliation, and a steward of the mysteries of Christ, you’re required to be faithful to the Lord in sharing the Gospel and teaching others the mysteries of God’s Kingdom (1 Corinthians 4:1-2).

In 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul said, "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." That’s the principle you’re a disciple, so you can disciple others; you’re to teach others the same truths of the Gospel that you’ve been taught, so that those you teach will in turn teach others.

Isn’t it wonderful that the Lord handed this glorious Gospel to His disciples, who were faithful to deliver the same message until it got to us in our day? Now that we’re the ones on the scene, we must not keep it to ourselves; we must tell everyone about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You’ve got to build someone else’s faith, and strengthen someone else with this message of hope, life and truth, so that when that one grows to be strong in faith, he’d do the same for others.

Prayer

Dear Father, I thank you for counting me faithful and worthy to be your partner in the ministry of reconciliation. I thank you for your grace that works in me to teach others and minister your truth, to the end that they might do the same, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

JESUS LOVES YOU AND ME

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
Righteousness Is Yours Now! · Wednesday, April 3rd ·

Pastor Anita

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference (Romans 3:21-22).

2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For he hath made him to... be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." What this means is that you’ve been made the righteousness of God in Christ; and this is a presenthour reality. Righteousness is not something you look forward to in the future; it’s already yours.

The Lord Jesus bore the sins of the whole world on the cross, and by His resurrection God declared everyone "not guilty." Therefore, no one ought to go to hell because of sin. The only reason people would go to hell is their refusal to accept what Jesus did; their refusal of the righteousness He brought to the world. That is why in 2 Corinthians 5:19, the Apostle Paul tells us that, "…God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation."

God is no longer counting men’s sins against them. A man may feel guilty about his sins, but the truth is, God isn’t keeping account of sins. Some Christians like to wallow in guilt because it gives them a false sense of piety, but that’s wrong. If God isn’t counting the sins of the world, why should He count yours?

The Sovereign Judge, has justified you because of Christ’s sacrifice, and has given you His nature of righteousness. That nature makes you do right. Now that you’re born again, righteousness is a part of your being. You no longer have to struggle to do right! The nature of God to do right has been imparted to your spirit.

Prayer

Dear Father, thank you for making me righteous in Christ Jesus! I reign in life as a king today, bearing fruits of righteousness, and living in your power and glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
